Yesterday i got asked again on how the heck i thought of this ape theme... i answered: i was painting a gorilla on canvas and thought this might be cool as a new Avatar back in 2008... here are some pictures of it... i did paint it mostly with orange pigments and black/white... i sold the canvas to the US later on...
That is what i have painted:
And there you can also see my old Avatar i had a long time at the german forum tabletopwelt.de, haha - there is a minature attacking me and it want to do brain surgery with what is left in it:
I did some colouring tests later on at the computer and found my way to my Kong Spirit:
Not very intresting i know... :) - but this today is Soulfood-Radio day...

And the rest, as they say, is history! I always wondered where that great image came from. ~Jim
Hi Roman!
I remember your old avatar when I search all your new works in CMON. Oh, I'm now speaking like an old man, jajaja!
This new avatar reveals perfectly your new works, with own style and crazy ideas. Donkey Kong rules!
Have a nice summer, Massive Voodoo staff!
YOur friend Connann.
Sometimes a little flash like this awsome colored (I like the organgeflow, its my favorite color) Gorilla painting could be the start of a wounderful Project...
What was first the Gorilla painting or the MassiveVoodo Jungel idea ? :-)
Thanks for your comments...
@Jim
Yepp, the rest is history... and history forms the future :)
@Connan
You too, enjoy the summer with too many barbe-Qs and some places in the shadow to paint minis :)
@CrownBear
The gorilla painting and Avatar Change was made in the beginning of 2008, Massive Voodoo started in September 2009 :)
