Hey my friends,
it´s late in the evening and I have a lot of work to do tomorrow... so I will keep the blabla short and just show you the 99,5% finished version of the saracen... why just 99,5%? Because the socket-tag is still missing... I have already thought about it, but it will be quite complicated to realize it... but we will see :-D
I was able to finish him during the paintingclass in Wetzlar at the weekend... I am really proud about the paintjob and have learned a lot... I think my uncle will like it ;-)
I´m not very satisfied with the pictures... I will make new ones as soon as the socket-tag is ready...
Best wishes,
Peter

Your best work so far!! Did a great job so far :-)
You might consider to add some last shadows to the cloak at the deepest wrinkels, cause it's lacking a bit of contrast.
Thumbs up!
I am looking forward to the final photos ...
Good job, but there's something wrong with the robe on his back... (photo 6)
Nice one!
Some scratches on the shield would be good.
Do me a favour. Don't put this one in your oven.
Hi Peter,
I agree with Max,I think that the cloak needs some deepest shadows for increase the contrast. But this is a very good painting,no doubt :). Look forward to the final pics.
thumbs up from Italy! Ciao :)
Thx for your comments ;) I will try to add the shadows asap :)
@ Phil: but I love my oven and the oven loves my miniatures :P
In Soviet Russia miniature melts you!
