Evil Viking with two axes
by Massive Voodoo
Aloa,
results from Tuesdays tutorial voting are in and you will find Boudica's Step by Step up to the jungle this Friday. It's a rather long article and preparing and writing it takes more time than expected.
So today another painted miniature.
This guy was painted up just for fun by Roman.
It was a gift by Hon during his private coaching back in 2014 and Roman made good use of the attached plastic base of the 28 model, creating a convincing ice river surface with glittering snow on top. Obviously you can call this a rather quick paintjob. Roman forgot the company who made the model, but hopefully Hon reads this and can give him a hint :D
Beside other miniatures painted by the MV Team you can find him on sale! Check it out and if you want to make one of these yours contact us:
Keep on happy painting!
Best Wishes

It's from Blood Rage boardgame miniature. And I think I gave you the mini at 2015 :D
awesome work Jar! (as always)
rly lovin' it :-)
Shame you don't adhere to the rules you gave us: '....You will have to crop a lot from the sides to get to your final picture....'. BTW: I wish to see the front side/face of the miniature.
Hah, Hon! You are right, I remember and it was 2015, yes :D
Thanks Oliver!
@Lopee
I never give rules. I suggest. My own rule says: Break rules. I just checked for the photos I have made of the model and I only got these four: http://www.coolminiornot.com/391537?browseid=13954105

Well, the miniature is very good - I learn alot evertime I'm here. The picture could be much more better if you cut away the lower 1/3 of it and leave just the black background - my opinion. BTW: I agree, breaking rules is important but you must know why to break them before you do it. Thanks for your reply anyway.
No offence taken, happy to have you here with us in the jungle and happy that you can learn something. I know what you mean Lopee and I agree. I do know why I break the rules here. I am bored of just black backgrounds. In the last eight years I have learned some rules about miniature painting, broke some, learnt if some are good to break, learnt if some are not. Put some rules to myself and learnt how to break them once in a while to not get too bored of my own rules. All fine over here and the answer is my pleasure :) ... Roman
thanks
