These days are pretty quiet in the jungle ...

BUT I for my part am not lazy ... did draw a comic on comission for a wedding couple with some of their most important memories of life, did draw more, yeah really I somehow lost my muse when it comes to Miniature Painting, but I just draw and be free inside the book without borders - just like I was in the past and magically I am doing miniatures too again ... drawing is simply so regenerating ...

The last one is the inlay of a birthday card I gave away yesterday. 18th birthday.
New "earholes-for-wearing-earings-coupon". Now I have to go with the birthday-person to the place as she is now scared of horrible things that might happen there :D

Yeah colourful drawing stuff going on and really feeling fine with it ... meanwhile I got some photos of lately done figures.

This first one was a co-project of Raffa and me while we were at the Painting Crusade earlier this year. I told you that they had a painting table there and Raffa and I bought those two to have some fun during the day. We bought a socket, went outside, collected some dirt, build up a base, lent only black and white from Val and painted without even primer in a short time ... very funny ...

Unfortunately Ymir the White, Lord of Stonegate
did come back to me due french post office delivery problems.
I used the right adress, they just did not want to deliver him properly and so the highest bidder asked me to give him his money back for not recieving the parcel for 5~6 weeks. Finally he arrived home back again with a big sticker in french language I do not understand. I already contacted the one who won the figure back a while if he would be still interested but I got no information back. So Ymir is out again, searching a new home where he can save the StoneGate from goblins taking a ninja-piss ...

O la la!
Jungle drums please ...

We fought ourselves through really hard decisions and decided the 3 Winners of MV's Easter Season Contest!

In the end every eggciting entry is worth a banana (always know that Apes love Bananas!) but we just can't afford all those letter pigeons for the banana curier . So again - loud and proud to everyone of you who took part: You are the BOMB! Really awesome and creative entries you brought to drop in this event. Please don't be sad if you did not win something in this contest - you all already won something by just taking part and being outstanding creative.

You can see a gallery of all entries here!

The first three places will get an exclusive MV medal in gold, silver and bronze, sculped by Raffaele Picca and painted by me which you only can get exclusive in MV Contest:

That is why all took a little bit longer than usual
- thanks for your patience!

Now let's get it on with what the three little birds whispered to the three judges. I can tell you that there where some close and hard decisions and we - Raffa, Peter and Roman - tried to judge from the heart which entries hit our hearts the most. We did give points from 0~3, while 3 means Gold and 0 means not placed, summed it all up and in the end the winners are the following ...

Your parcels will soon hit the road but first the postman has to find its way out of that jungle!

Again we want to say thanks and gratitude to everyone who made this contest alive with his/her eggciting entry. Congratulations to the winners and you know ... to everyone of you for creating something so mad and so cool!

Keep on happy painting!
Best Wishes
Your MV Ape Gang

Now stay ready for the 1000-Celebration Event growing bigger and bigger!
