Slow Work in Progress - man, this monster is big ... early WIP:
Happy Painting to you all!
Aloa jungle friends,
two new painted miniatures jump from my workbench these days - the blind demon by Troll Outpost first. He was really a cool sculpt to paint, i did sculpt a little demon tail to him to underline his movement. I did this like described here. Pretty simple conversion though but in the end i really liked how it turned out. The skull at the base is from a dead mouse - hope you do like him, click here to vote on CMON.
The other one is from DUST, a german SciFi soldier painted to be a japanes hero soldier. The model was painted mainly to be a gaming table paintjob. Hope you like him - vote here!
You can find both models up for sale in the Miniatures for Sale area - if you want to call one of these your own for future days feel free to write me an email.
Here is also a little preview on my actual workbench and a little preview on the jungle's airbrush introduction article and other articles rolling in - you can really look forward to those sooner or later :)
We are on the road to a Painting Class in our capital, Berlin for the upcoming weekend. If you are waiting for reply on something please keep this information saved - we are gone for some happy painting action with a big class and really look forward to it ...
Read you soon and keep on happy painting so far!
Best Wishes

On the weekend I was by two very good painting friends from me Thomas and Thomas.. and we had a great trip to Eindhoven Scale Model Factory, with some good results at the competiton. And we bought many cheap new sockets.. :P
Then I drived back on sunday evening from 6 to 1 o'clock and wanted to make pictures for the internet on that evening.. but I was so tired that I coulnd't make it.. but I did them today morning. And waited whole day until I saw them activ on CMON . Now I come home and see all my 3 entries with a 6.5 at the registred votes. And the Wilhelm with a 3 at registred vote.. this really piss me of. If anyone have a problem with me, please write it to me.. I have no problem with critcim I think, but than write the 3 with a comment.
Now I would like to hear your opinion maybe I am crazy and my miniatures suck hard. I don't say that my miniatures must be a 9+, but a 6 or 7,..??
Maybe I should stop post on CMON, because I can't just ignore such ratings... especially if all ratings in the last months are like that. This makes no sense.
Interesting that especially the registred votes are bad.
hm.. okey I will stop crying.. haha :P
Maybe you have some constructive critic for me, I really would like to improve my skills.. that's why the pictures are very big.

(sure its just one Rating.. but the picture is funny I think)
Good night. Oli
First i want to thank everyone who threw in some music suggestion in this posting.
Honestly I did not expect so many suggestion and i really enjoyed listening to the different styles of music you threw into my ear. Many thanks for your help to find some new inspiring music. There have been many that i really liked.
I love two steps from hell and i am already listening to those great soundtracks for a while. Why really also will be in my upcoming playlists. Creedence Clearwater Revival's Fortunate Son is also always very impressive. Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds are also kicking booty. Jungle Fever really got me. This is a very intense and amazing video - Don Diablo feat Dragonette. The Cat Empire is juicy too. I really enjoyed them all, even the swedish songs were i did not really get a word but i loved their madness in their eyes.
So it was a really hard decision - but i've made it from the songs i did listen a long time while painting.
The winners of the little surprise gift are GSPirate for introducing Koan to me and Anonymous for introducing Bonobo to me. Both really hit my mood and it feels i am getting a bit old when i look at my decisions. Please both of you, send your adress to me: jarhead---at---massivevoodoo---dot---com
Thanks again for sharing your music here!
Maybe we should do this every month as everyone is able to get some inspiration - what you think?
Hey everyone!
finally almost everything is finished for the Italian Games Day.
Last week i managed to give some last details to my project for the large scale category, he was sculpted using polymer clay (to bake in the oven) and some small bits from Games Workshop.
The small angel was also sculpted and the base was build with plaster of paris.
And now some photos:
You can also vote on CMON if you like to!
And here are some work in progress photos:
Hope you like this small insight... i should have taken more photos but .. hmm i'm sometimes too concentrated on the work.
Cheeeeeeeriooooooo,
Raffa
... just love it! Thanks to Adam again for showing me:
Also enjoyed this video a lot! Great view and fine music!
This video is great if you want to learn about the rules of Rugby!!
I am cleaning off my workbench soon and will make ready for some painting hours with your music suggestions - many thanks to you all for your comments!
