These days are strange...

The jungle is silent, the heart still beats, the brush stays unused, busy days ahead but the brain won't get busy - the batterys are recharging i guess...

Hiho!

Now finally we passed the point of no return.
The jungle doors are open and a new family member joins the Voodoo Squad. It is time to make clappy, clappy with your hands and make the big coconuts bounce - pppppllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllleeeeeeaaaaasssseeeeee wweeeeelllllllllccommmmeeeeeee  

Mr. Matt Cexwish,
the new fist of the jungle perimeter out on the brush hunt. May your spirit help the jungle to grow and rise and may the godess of colours always be with your soul.

You may recognize the bigger ape family up in the header and you may also find all the information around and about Matt in the gallerys, profile and contact in the menues (@Matt: Roberto will provide you with your mail adress soon - take an eye out for this email!)

I am looking forward to your introduction, madly wish for photos and have to make some loud knocking on my gorilla chest - Jungle is massive!

Deep jungle greetings out of the cabin party we have these days at Raffa's during Georg's visit here in Augsburg. Here are some photos of those days still in progress.


There is also a new "rule" for those who have a stay at Raffa's - you gopt to paint a rose for Raffa's collection  - rules are there to guide the thing called life and so is this one... on the right you can see Georg's Rose and on the left the one painted up some weeks ago while C. aka Bestienmeister was here... really looking forward to this gorgeous collection...


So far out of the jungle. I really have to say that i recently miss something on the blog. From time to time there is the need for booty - i hope you enjoy... we did - to all the ladies i have to admit this is just a homage to you and boys stay boys :)

Little animals

And you thought Hasslefree Kids and Red Box Games Minis are small enough for me? Noo^^ - I am joking. Some time ago I asked Raffa where he got some of the small animals from, he used at his bases. He said me the box from *BUSCH*, and its really worth every cent. For 7 euro, you get nearly 100, very well sculpted, animals, and the size fits good to 32mm miniatures. 

Here are some exemples of them, I painted this rabbit, like the rabbit I had in my childhood, you can see him on the last picture. Not much more to say..  now he runs overy my Hasslefree Diorama :)

The animals are fit on a toothpick so you can see that they are really small.  But I like it, because I can paint it clean, without sitting there for hours and they are cool details for bases or dioramas^^ I just can advice for this set :D

Cynwall elve and Han Solo

After I had a really great stay at Augsburg, I got much motivation for continue painting and finish anything.  At first I want to show you an actual WIP of me:

 

I continued painting my Han Solo (on Sunday at the painters meeting) a really good, realistic sculpt (also if the cast wasn't the best). I have always been a fan of Star Wars, so it was just a matter of time, to buy the first Mini of Knight Models and I think it won't be the last :)

Tried to gave him a realistic/wasted colour sheme. I have to make a little Tatooine Base in the next days... okey, I am drifting away..

Aloa Jungle...

Rainy day here at our main base, good time to drink some relaxing tea and using the brush... i am on the go to Raffa's as Georg is still our guest and i now really need to see him after i wasn't able yesterday. We also had a cool creative weekend which past too fast. Here are some impressions of our Painters Meeting we had in Augsburg this weekend. Thanks to big daddy for the photos :)

PS: We also had a very creative painting night at Raffa's on Saturday, but we did paint on canvas, Raffa, my lady and myself did these on the saturday night - mixed media, some are finished, others are not...


Only one shot during the progress, where you can see on canvas which was started in some blaaa green and was doen blue again later on...
