Review: MV's Jar's Advanced Class in Augsburg, Germany

by Massive Voodoo

"The MV "Advanced Painting Class by Jar did its name justice: I feel that my skills to use colors as a means to create atmosphere have skyrocketed. Jar's carefully crafted exercises made me observe colors in nature and instrumentalize them in order to tell a story. Before the class I only applied color to surfaces, but now I am starting to learn how to bring the figures alive. The intimate class size allows for plenty of questions, and painting with fellow modelers manifolds the learning effects."
- Diana

"The Advanced Painting Class was my first Workshop with Roman and I can totally say it was worth it! I Think I was able to make a big step foward in my painting skills and especially in my understanding of colors. But most importantly Roman taught me how much fun it can be to paint miniatures.". - Florian

"Also erstmal ein großes Dankeschön an Roman, war mal wieder ein geniales Wochenende." - Hajo

Well,
Roman held his first Advanced miniature painting class,
a class that takes the students deeper into Roman's brain, after his famous Beginner's Class.

The themes and topics plus schedule is getting more complex and after Roman took about 2,5 years to work on the concept, make thoughts, collect stuff, think about how to explain something, break information and steps down to a level that everybody can understand and follow what Roman tries to explain in his class. You can believe, when we say that Roman - even as a very experienced teacher - was nervous about the concept premiere.

Main topics for MV's Jar's Advanced Class:

- Learn to paint atmosphere in a Miniature Project
- Learn to keep all harmonic
- Doing a small conversion to make Hayden personal
- Learn simple, but very effective rules for a gaming base
- Learn to paint skintones
- Learn to paint black and white
- Advanced Color Theory
- Advanced Blending Techniques
- Advanced Happy Painting Methods
- and more!

First of all
a big thanks goes out to Hasslefree Miniatures, who supported the class with a big bunch of "Hayden", which were actually perfect for the class concept. Dem Haydens, dem Haydens, dem Haydens! Check 'em out! Dem Haydens.

They got great miniatures, check them out here!

Well, atmosphere, what is that?
It's an ambient, a mood, a feeling that you get when looking at something. It takes your miniature project from being a just painted miniature to a storytelling, emotional piece. Easier said than understood and the hardest part is how to create such in a good working order to have easy acces to the use of atmosphere.

For example, different atmosphere's from Fallout 4 - Artbook

Like being said already Roman was truely a little nervous,
not that he would fail as a teacher in the actual class, but if the thoughts he made and the material he had prepared will help to explain his concepts well enough. This was truely exciting for him. Luckily he got company from many Advanced painters who came as students to his class and as Roman already knew most of them all of them were speaking the same language.

Many thanks to the fourteen students
who travelled to Augsburg to be a part of this class and make it happen. Thanks for the great 2,5 days with you and thank you all for your support in my work, teaching and art!

"I paint for some years now and have joined serveral classes in order to boost my knowledge about colors and the general way of painting. All of these classes left their mark and helped me to develop my humble skills. But today I have the feeling that Roman´s Advanced Class helped me to trespass limits and that it opened a whole new world to me. If you want to learn about atmosphere and want to understand how to implement it into your way of painting miniatures, this class is a "must-do". Thanks a lot to Roman for sharing his lessons learnt and the knowledge he got out of them." - Peter

"Der WS war echt klasse, hat mir wirklich viel spaß gemacht und ich hab wieder enorm viel mit genommen, als Gelerntes." - Johannes

"I had the gread pleasure of visiting Roman's first try for his advanced painting class in Augsburg at the end of April 2016. Since I have visited several of his other classes I knew that I could expect some great new insights despite the fact that I have not painted regularly at home in the last weeks or months." - Oliver

"I really enjoyed the workshop, since then I'm seeing way more colours and colour shades and I'm constantly thinking which base colours I would mix in what ratio to get that specific colour. Furthermore, when looking at people's faces I can see the trisection (yellow in the upper part, red in the middle and green or blue in the lower part) that Roman talked about in every face." - Andreas

We did meet up in Augsburg
in a well known place for MV workshop's: The "Staatsinstitut für Fachlehrer", where Roman did his studies to become a teacher. A great place to teach and being a student as the room is perfect and big enough. Many thanks for the good collaberation.

Before we did start painting on the miniatures there was time for building up a small gaming base for Hayden, information to it delivered via presentations on the projector and talks by Roman. After this we converted and prepared the models for painting, before ... well, no it was not time yet to paint on the models themselves. First Friday night and Saturday morning was packed with theory parts. Roman was such a happy teacher as he saw the results  from his students.

Every student recieved a big paged Handout
with all necessary information and tasks to fullfill, of course step by step. Some of the beautiful results that helped to understand the theory behind "painting atmosphere", including wolves and Haydens:

After these dryruns, we went for the models and also tackled many of the advanced topics the class had in stock, like skintones, white and black, metals, painting technique, all the time under the influance of atmosphere.

"This was surely the most interesting workshop I have attended thus far. Its contents were thoughtfully chosen, the course was well structured, and I really liked having the opportunity to spend much time actually painting under Roman's guidance (instead of having to listen to theoretical monologues). As is typical for Roman's workshops, you could feel his enthusiasm and and love for painting miniatures all the way. At the same time, Roman ran the course extremely professionally and along a systematic concept that aimed to take all of us towards the course clearly outlined goals. In this, Roman always catered to the participants' preferences and abilities, taking those by the hand who needed a little more guidance, while allowing for a little more free time and space for those who prefered a bit more autonomy..

I particularly liked the 30 page handout that includes not only a number of working sheets for the individual painting practices (wolves, Hayden-color schemes, tattoos, etc.), but also a number of comprehensive summaries and excurses on Roman's thoughts concerning the main topics - just perfect for re-visiting and refreshing the course contents afterwards!"

Time went by and very fast Sunday arrived.
As Roman did not paint up a model himself during the class - but had two painted versions of Hayden with him - he had plenty of time to help everyone on his individual skilllevel, help with their specific idea of their atmosphere and help if a technical painting issue occoured.

Roman is truely a very happy teacher by looking on the weekend's result. As a teacher he set his goals and also his teaching goals that he build up step by step and he got convinced by all results, no matter the different experience levels of his students. It was just great seeing your models grow up to this!

Thanks to Oliver, Hajo und everyone else who supported this review with his photos!

- Peter

"I can recommend the workshop to everyone who would like to inhance his painting skills and especially the theory behind putting a miniature in a good ambientic setting." - Oliver
(read Oli's full review here! - german language)

Well,
Roman wants to thank everyone involved in this class once again and after the feedback from you all is already included, after Roman reflected the class schedule and results and changed small things here and there he will soon start to find new dates for his Advanced Class.

Thank you all very much for such a joyful experience of happy painting!
Keep on happy painting!

Step by Step: Dino, the lone wolf

by Massive Voodoo

Aloa ladies and gentlemen,

Important Information for the next two weeks on MV:
Roman will be offline for the next two weeks, starting next week Monday after
the upcoming review of MV Jar's Advanced Class.

Roman is doing final preparations for his upcoming MV's Jar's Beginners Class in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is travelling and when he comes back he takes a rest and is up to a private coaching session with his dad about color theory, painting with oil colors on canvas. So, nothing from Roman's side, but be sure to see the jungle bounce from the other monkeys.

Now, time for the results of the latest tutorial voting.

MV's year of the painter 2 is proud to present to you the next article in line.

FOREWORD
This is Radwulf, the lone wolf. A great miniature sculpted by Raul Garcia Latorre for his company Mproyec. Sadly Radwulf was limited and is already sold out. I named my version "Dino" and in this article you learn why ...
A little story I put behind my version:

"Dino travels alone. He is fine being alone. He used to have friends on his journeys, but "Tilda" and "Grumgi" have been eaten by Trolls, his love "Magdar" died in the desert. Burnag, his best buddy just fell of a cliff and even Radwulf's dog "Willy" got poisened by a scorpion's sting and died awful. That is why Dino learned to travel alone as he do not want to have what is left of his heart break again. A heart can only break a couple of times."

Frankly,
I can tell I do like to paint Raul's sculpts very much. Not only that Raul is a great personality, he is a master in what he creates and the volumes he forms are a joy to tickle with a brush. When I first saw the sculpt of this dwarf I knew I want to paint him. And I had to be fast as nowadays with so many limited miniatures they can run out fast. I am still not sure if I think this is a good or bad thing. What do you think?

This article differs in the quality of photos, some were done with the big studio camera, others were done with my digital camera and some were done with just my mobile camera. Such an article needs many photos to be sorted out in the end and I was happy to see that I was able to tell everything I wanted to tell with the photos I have made.

PAINTING THE DWARF -
NON METALLIC METAL, SKINTONE, OVERALL HARMONY

Allright. Let's dive right in. I went for using the base the model arrives without further ado, but wanted to have it on a round plinth, which actually fits well beneath it. I prepared the model like this for painting:

Decided to paint the arms beside the model - at least for the beginning steps - as without this I would not be able to reach the model like I want to due to his pose.

This looked like the evil cork monster and I had to laugh pretty hard on it:

The dwarf and the seperate arms got primed black without further ado on top. Why I miss out on the bright tone on top of this one? Well, I can not really explain, I just wasn't in the mood and I wanted to paint on black.Using GW black primer here. Pft! Pft!

Diving right into my color scheme for this model and already encountering my issue with only black primer: The colors do not cover as good as on a mixture of primers or grey primer. It's just too dark somehow, but well, I will not get stopped by this as I decided to do so and in the end I need just more layers of color on top of the others.

I went in there really sketchy, just to get a feeling for it. Skin! Plow! Basecolor! Plow! Fur! Plow!

While I went further into the model I put more and more layers on skin (where you already can see the fun I aiming at when it comes to different skintone tonalities, sketching), painted the beard in a basic colorouish orange brown and decided - which is very uncommon for me, to paint Non Metallic Metal, NMM.

Well I usually never do NMM.
Why? Mmh, personal taste tells me that I often do not like the result, it quickly can look like stone if the principals of metal reflections is done without proper studying. I know that I can paint a decent enough True Metallic Metal and from teaching many classes I know that I know what I am saying, when I explain TMMs. I studied it with practical exercise long enough now. So why not give it a try with NMM. My version of it. I was not aiming to copy another artist's style or had something else as a goal. I just wanted to do it, my way.

THOUGHTS ON THE NMM
Again I went in rather sketchy on the NMM. I knew I will have strong edge highlights on the metals as metals are a material that reflect light influance much more intense. I did not go with pure white, but with a much brighter tone I used as the base color.

Actually, if you look on the big photo above, you can see that even the basecolor is weird. It's not a color you can find in a recipe like, use this grey to start your NMM or such. The colors I found there were mainly based on my color choices of the base I already sketched. Metals reflect, not only light, but also their surroundings. So I used a drop of this greenish/tourquoise/blue/grey I used on the base also in my sketch of the NMM. Mainly on areas that were aiming to the ground.  So far for the sketch, I was really nervous now ... and needed to paint something else on the model instead:

I sketched a little more on the face, shadows, rough highlights, color variations, just painting. Plow!

While I did I always had to look back to my NMM sketch. What the heck am I doing here? Look at it, Roman, trust yourself, paint on until you will see what you are searching for. Well, I did love the beard color in this stage, it gave the face a natural frame as it was much darker from the basic tone than the skintone. Damn I didn't sketch his left leg at all in NMM :D

This NMM looks interesting over here. I really enjoyed the sketch, but also was thinking often about what I was missing. I couldn't name it in the beginning, but quickly I decided to stop thinking to much about it and just to add more contrast.

Sharper highlights, plow, plow, more diversity in the surfaces, shadows here and there for more definition. I also used the airbrush to spray a glaze of my tourquise/blueish/something green over the groundword and metals to pull it all together a little more:

Still did not touch his left leg, haha. Well, I decided to check back with my range of contrast in the figure by doing a black and white photo. Of course the reflections in the metal did not look 'perfect' everywhere, but I put that thought far away as I just wanted to enjoy. Left leg!!!

While other projects rose from nowhere around the dwarf I enjoyed being distracted for a while. Well, I am not really distracted when working on several models. It just calms my thoughts on one particular thing and it helps to get back to it later on with a much clearer focus. Sometimes I do enjoy using a color I use in project a) on project b) and so on, this gives a wide variety of colors appearing while painting. I love it.

So while painting elsewhere I only painted his beard more sandish. Still left leg!

When I came back to the dwarf I decided he looks stupid without arms and weaponry. Painted the arms and weapns in the sketchy way I did the other parts earlier and put them to the model. Now I liked that. I loved how the wristlet on his left arm turned out and somehow - by magic - I was able to start with his left leg. Plow!

It is very important to look at the model from different angles while you paint. From the top, from below, from its back and so on, just to a) see if a volume you have set into a light situation works from a different angle too and b) if you forgot an area or spot.

While I was painting up a Zombie for the big MV Zombieproject (btw Update #02 coming soon) I had some Magenta on my brush and was in the mood to add stronger color variations to the skintone too.

It slowly began to move away from the sketchy work to more detail work. Making transitions smoother were I wanted them smoother, increasing highlights here and there, rebuilding colors I lost for example in the skintone variations: He recieved red hands, now I bring back skintone on them again with the use of glazes.

I painted the beard whitish. He was to become an old dwarf, but hey this guy reminds me of someone ... and that is why I tattooed him like I did.

Dino, the italian master of plinth art - in the version of my figure a little younger, but already with the same unbreakable handshake of destruction.

True? For me yes.

Allright, then. Main final works have been cleaning up areas, smoothing rough transitions in skin and NMM by using glazes of the color that reasoned the unsmooth transition.
 Left leg! Hah!

Well, I did this quite the while, but I realized that I did not want to get too smooth in the NMM. I liked the rough way I did it and I learned a lot while doing so. I kept some brushstrokes for the good memory :)

For finalisation I decided to put thin glazes of yellow on top of the model as I had the feeling my highlights went too withish. I did not do so in the NMM as I wanted to have them as powerful as possible. I even went in there with some white dots to mark reflections. My way of NMM I guess :D

AFTERMATH
I really enjoyed to paint this wonderful sculpt. I hope you enjoyed the walkthrough with me and my thoughts. If you want to see more photos of the finished model please check Putty&Paint.

The miniature was sold to a private collector!
Thank you for your support in my passion, work and art!

Keep on happy painting!

We had three more entries than in issue one and overall were able to see 32 crazy and wonderful entries by you! We witnessed all your entries and we can say that all of you are winners, because we were able to see the fun you people had with this contest. Thank you for participating and the love you did put in your projects.

The big number of entries
in this contest is very special for us, as this contest is very special for those who participate, you. It ain't an easy competition, where you just enter a painted miniature and done. You had to convert a full car and put it in context to the Mad Max universe. That is why this contest ran so long to give you all the time you needed. We were happy about every single entry and cherised every one of them.

This contest is special
for another reason too: There are only three medals and therefor only three winners. Judging was no easy work you can believe this. Many thoughts were made, many discussions took place until we decided to celebrate with you the winners of this contest who will recieve these mediocre medals, sculpted by Raffaele Picca and painted by Roman Lappat:

from left to right: Silver, Gold, Bronze

MV Mad Max Car Contest 2 Winners

 ________________________________________________________________________________

We are still not done yet ... :)
Definatly we can say that judging this contest was one of the hardest things we judged so far, because of all your cool entries. To say proper thanks, Raffa and Roman sat down and wrote some lines of feedback to each entry:

MV-MMCC2-Entry #01:
Roman: Really cool work on this car. Fits wonderful to the new Mad Max Movie and looks just straight out of it. Boom Sticks! Boom! Warboys! Witness! The work could have been done with more care and the painting lacks a little bit of interesting areas, compared to other entries.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #02:
Raffa: The scene is a little too busy, it is hard to see on the first look what exactly is going on. After understanding what is happening I still don't really see why the car is hitting a pillar. Is it an accident? Is it on purpose? It would help if the story of the piece would be easier to recognize.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #03:
Roman: A powerful build car. You can feel the horse power by just looking at it. Painting wise it is nice, conversion wise it misses a little bit more Mad-Max-Feeling. Somehow.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #04:
Raffa: I really like the design, very simplistic and straightforward.
What I think could have been done better are the different scales that sometimes don't really match together very well. Like the front of the truck that looks like it has been taken from another model with a different scale.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #05:
Roman: This blew my mind when I saw it for the first time. So much dynamic, dust and action going on. Cars look like out of the movie, cool setting and even a flying Warboy, yelling "CHROME"! What more can you ask for? Well, we witnessed this great piece and the fun the participant had with it, but compared to other entries it did not make it to the top. Still a lovely entry!

MV-MMCC2-Entry #06:
Raffa: Fantastic and impressive piece! Painting is top notch and the scene looks alive and very mad-maxish. I would have loved to see the Brutus receiving much more conversion work...
Armored windows, armored tires, spiky shield protected back, etc.
Also it would have looked fantastic to put the big totem ON the Brutus, like a driving totem to support moral.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #07:
Roman: Simple and straight forward design, which works pretty well. We missed a little more detail here and there, for example armour or fixation for the barrel on the back.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #08:
Raffa: This entry hit the feeling of Mad Max right on the head. Love the color, mud, everything.
Maybe some more defenses or weaponry would have made this car even more frightening.
Also a base and adding some small scenery would have definately helped to transport this muddy feeling.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #09:

Roman: I really like this one. So much style in the choice of car and color choices. Really like the attention to detail here, like the driver conversion, the tally sheet. This car looks so in use and the driver like a true madman, what I miss here and there are small repaired areas on the car. A little more love. A really cool piece, definatly. Unfortanetly it did not make it to the top.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #10:
Raffa: This piece works very nice, everything fits together, the painting could have received some more love and details. Also the truck could have made good use of some more details and for sure a big V8 or a fat engine. Some details to break up the big surfaces would greatly increase the level of detail.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #11:
Roman: This one is so out of the Mad Max Universe. Check the great conversion work going on here. Different car parts put together to form a solid monster. Placed in a simple, but dynamic way and truely effective. We loved the paintwork, all those different parts with the old graffiti and rust on it, the level of detail is truely beautiful. A well deserved bronze medal!

MV-MMCC2-Entry #12:
Raffa: Very agressive design and some crazy conversions going on here!
I like the scene but I have one little issue with it:If the car is jumping over his cliff, with this small spring deflection on the front wheels, the car is going to poke into the sand like a bullet :D
A bit more off road look on the front tires would help the car to look more functioning.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #13:
Raffa: A fantastic project! I love the overall workshop atmosphere. The tools, the building, everything has this special vibe. The choice to not give this a top 3 place was more a style choice. Everything looks a bit "tabletop" by the scale and thickness of most things.
I miss a bit the fine and fragile details you can sometimes recognize in the real world.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #14:
Roman: What a brutal car. This looks like a true weapon on the road and someone you do not want to mess with. A lot of details going on here, but somehow it lacks in a little more seperation in color choices to make it easier to understand and seperate the detail work for the viewers eye.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #15:
Roman: What an impressive sight. This truck rocks. Conversion- and paintingwise. A lot of details going on and love is put in all of it. This was a close call and while judging this entry walked a long way with us. The only issue was - just imagine this monster rumbling through the deserts, we had the feeling that he might lose half of the stuff on the first metres. Well, it does not look like a fast traveller, so we missed a little more brutal touch to it, armoury, weaponry to defend the slow travelling giant.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #16:
Raffa: I just love this piece, I also selected it for my personal favorite. Just the simple and effective raw look of everything... I am a big fan of top gear and the guy reminds me a lot of 'Stig'. That combined with the oldschool Golf is just pure win. The project is also impressing from the technical point of view but could make use of more armor, spikes and typical Mad Max things.
more survival stuff would also have helped to make this more than a crazy car.
Details like the steering wheel also bring a lot of life to the car.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #17:
Roman: A beast. Simple, effective. Details are done really well, but somehow it misses the madmaxish style in the looks. It could also be a really messed up beast from nowadays.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #18:
Raffa: It's great to see a little oasis of hope along with so many crazy brutal entries.
A very nice scene! The painting is good at most places but lacks a little bit on the figures.
Some more details and love could have been put into the base.
After all I have to say that I love the project, but seeing it in the Mad Max world I just feel pity for those people. I don't think they will stay alive long enough to spread to love they have in their hearts :(

MV-MMCC2-Entry #19:
Roman: This one is so powerful. I can hear its engines roaring. This Truck looks like a destroyer, something you think twice to attack or challenge. Wonderful detail work. It's front telling you that there will be pain and the Michellin guy tells that the driver got balls and knows how to use them. Supplies and personal character included. A well deserved silver medal.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #20:
Raffa: Simple. Brutal. Dark. I really like it! Very simple design, but very powerful shape.
Works very nice as a Mad Max car, I could totally imagine Warboys standing on the back of this truck. What I miss here are a bit of ornaments, trophies, boomsticks, things to make it more alive and more than a car.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #21:
Roman: A very funny entry. Not because I want to laugh at it, but because it is so different too many others. It does not look fast, it does not look very aggressive. It just looks so mean. Maiming slow running foes in its wake. Not like a bullet, not like a blade, but like a bull that is mean.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #22:
Raffa: This project looks like it was a lot of fun to do!
Very cool and crazy design. Sometimes I think that some more time could have been invested in making everything looks like it belongs together. On some parts you can still see that they were taken from "our world" and glued onto something small. It's very important to hide that to create an illusion of something real.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #23:
Roman: This is a crazy car. The exhaust pipes and engine looks ultrasized to show off its powers. Cool details going on and also armour and weaponry ready. The front tires could be a little higher lifted to keep it in balance when the engine roars loud.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #24:
Raffa: I love the overall comic look of this project and the idea of a driving home.
The painting really fits the style of the build and the base also fits very well.
I think for a Mad Max car it still misses armor, but it is mostly the style that, while making it look very unique and interesting, doesn't really fit into my idea of Mad Max, a dark and gritty world.
Anyway I really like this almost goblin/steampunkish idea of this crazy home on wheels!

MV-MMCC2-Entry #25:
Roman: I really enjoy this piece. The choice of chassis from this Oldtimer makes it stand out. Great presentation and a great feeling of Mad Max with the miniatures and conversion work. Attention to detail is sweet and the broken front glass is splendid. Compared to other top entries it missed final detail work. For example: Drill your guns!

MV-MMCC2-Entry #26:
Raffa: The design and execution is very nice, apart from some small things that I would love to see a bit more "used and abused" like the tires and the paint, the car looks nice!
The base is something that really got my attention and it makes this project look even more unique!
Like on some other projects it was more the style of the overall project that didn't completely fit into our view of the Mad Max world, different tastes. The work put into all the details is something we really enjoyed, so keep on driving!

MV-MMCC2-Entry #27:
Roman: Right out of the movie. A wonderfull piece, which followed us along while judging for quite the time. Everything seems to work on this one. The Flamethrower is connected and lovely boom sticks show that this fella is no joy to fight with.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #28:
Raffa: Also, one of my personal favorites! While you could say the vehicle looks maybe a bit too plain I totally get the Mad Max vibe from this. You don't need big armor if you are just fast enough and have a couple of boom sticks! All the enemy sees is a big cloud of dirt and dust!
Even when it is all about speed, some more ornaments and details wouldn't have hurt this car to make it look even more personalized. Maybe some different painted layers to make it look more interesting or if it is so rusty, some holes in the cars body?

MV-MMCC2-Entry #29:
Roman: Again, a true weapon. This looks like more being a tank than a car. The driver is relaxed, who would not be if this weapon is under your butt cheeks? Great conversion work (everything looks like build by the driver himself), detailed armour and tiny details round this up to a wonderful entry which also followed us a long way to the top while judging.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #30:
Raffa: Now this is a car that could have been taken straight out of the Mad Max world.
Very cool, fast design, everything is pointing forward. Great!
What I don't enjoy that much are the bits that don't really fit like the rocket launcher. Also while I love the inside, some more love could have been put into the small details there.

MV-MMCC2-Entry #31:
Roman: So much speed and fun in this one. With the flag in the wind it looks more like a remote-controlled car. A cool entry. What made us a little sad was the visible plastic pin. Why not pin the car from one of the tires to the ground to make the "jump" feel more real?

MV-MMCC2-Entry #32:
Raffa: I can't really say much about this car. It's just CHROME! It may lack armor but this HUGE engine will put some distance between any crazy fool trying to chase it and the driver of this beast.
The level of technical execution is excellent. The frame makes sense and looks like it was built by someone who knows how cars work. The owner of this car sure had a garage and some first class welding skills. Fantastic Job and a well deserved gold medal!
