Amazing mood you've captured here, and such a tasty model as well... Always enjoy your painting!
This model takes me back to some good old memories, back when GW weren't spoiling the fun, and drowning us in large plastic models.. Sense my bitterness.. :)
Really enjoying your blog, its fuel for my own painting interest.. Hopefully getting back to it soon!
A great paintjob...as always. I love the metal at the armor and the glowing eyes. The only points for improvement I recognize are my taste of colours and which I only recognize because I visited a class of roman and you. The miniture does not focus to the face in my opinion even with the glowing eyes. And the choice of colours of the back pipes and the base directs the eye more on these points. Another point from the base is, that I found it hard to divide between bounce light and rust.
Nevertheless it's a great paintjob of a great mini and I will need years to reach this painting skill.
... MASSIVE VOODOO’s jungle, where some apes share their thoughts and ideas around their beloved passion, the hobby of miniature painting and sculpting.
Feel welcome to come and check the jungle for tons of articles, interesting tutorials, creative competitions and the simple joy of happy painting hidden behind every tree. We hope that everyone finds their own banana in here, if not do not hesitate to ask the apes. We are more than happy for you to post in the comments section to help turn this jungle into the lush, overgrown painting corner we hope it will become.
the light is absolutely beautiful, as usual. really love your stile

Wow, the lights and shades. A few hundred years more and maybe maybe I will be able to do this sort of magic.
