Spaddasin finished...

posted by roman, jarhead, kong

Heyho...

here goes - a really special miniature by Helldorado - a so called Spaddasin Swordfighter. I'd like to call this small project "Don't push me, cuz i am close to the edge...!" :)

This guy will be out for our next competition and will be a free giveaway to the one who will randomly win it. The Contest "Win a miniature - Celebrating the 300!" will start as soon as we got the 300 subscribers here on the blog. Everyone who subscribed here or on facebook is allowed to take part and has to sent me an email for the ... nah, read the rules here as we did celebrate the 200 :) - and yes, the yellow snow was an accident, but one i like in this case :)

Spaddasin, Helldorado, 28 mm

This is how he looks on my workbench with lightning by the camera:

Prepare to get your chance to win him soon :)

Keep on happy painting!

  1. Hmm doesn't look so finished to me somehow...lacking some contrast an so on...this is porrige compared to the chili you normally produce (if you no hat I mean)-don't get me rong, I don't say that it's a bad ork, but for me it lacks the typical BääääM-Jarhead-style...

  2. Sometimes this even happens to me, when finishing a lot of figures off in the latest days... sorry to hear that, but maybe it is still ok if you think it'll be a free giveaway miniature, for sure i can't put that time in such a project than i do in comissions or private competition pieces... but you are right, there is nothing i could say - did search for the BÄM! too and didn't find it at all...

  3. And don't forget:

    "Never eat yellow snow!!!"

This wisdom is presented by your local jungle zen-master :D

  4. On an otherwise fine figure the thing that bothers me most is that the snow to me looks like mold ;).
