'What does painting mean for you?'
Some years ago I was visiting my friend @alfonso_giraldes_banshee for the first time in Madrid. Back then we already realized how much we have in common when it comes to teaching miniaturepainting and a view on art. We decided to make a video on the topic with strong words on what painting means for us. Answer in the comments what it means for you!
I recently visited Alfonso again in Spain,
while I was teaching two seminars and also recorded a tutorial video for the @miniatureartacademy that will be released soon. We both thought it is the right time to show this video now.

For me miniature painting allows me to be creative. Putting in motion ideas I have in my head. Also if done right, it will be a perfect mindfulness exercise: focusing on the colours, the brush strokes, the loading of the brush and the interaction between light and shadow.
