are mainly known there for their seminar work, happy painting spirit and judging Capital Palette and this year the NOVA Open has amazing talent lined up again for their seminar offer.
Beside tons of talent from the states this year will offer you not only one european guest teacher - that is me, Roman Lappat - this year they even got two: Alfonso Giraldes aka Banshee will teach there too this year! Additional I will be offering my first stateside two and and a half day Beginner's Workshop up front the NOVA OPEN. This is gonna be epic!

NOVA OPEN 2018 registration is soon on!
Registration opens at 8 pm (EST) on 1 Mar 18. The NOVA Open Tabletop Wargaming Convention (normally abbreviated as the NOVA Open)font-size: 12.0pt;">amed for the Northern Virginia area where it is hosted, the NOVA Open is the largest tabletop wargaming convention in the Washington, DC Metropolitan region. NOVA Open 2018 will be held 29 Aug - 2 Sep 18 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia.
The inaugural NOVA Open occurred in August, 2009. The experience was tailored to the needs of the global gaming community based on their feedback. We believe all manner and style of hobbyist can be accommodated and entertained within the same venue and the same events. Whether a hardcore competitive gamer, or a casual hobbyist simply looking for a few good games, the NOVA Open is designed for you.
Numerous Malifaux, Warhammer 40,000, X-Wing, Horus Heresy, Lord of the Rings, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Warmachine/Hordes, X-Wing Armada, Dark Age, Wrath of Kings, Infinity and other wargaming events fill the weekend, along with casual gaming, hobby seminars, the Capital Palette Miniature Art Competition, and a host of evening events ranging from socials to hardcore wargaming!
