Laszlo & Clown

Hey Jungle painters,

Roman is still catching up with the past of all the miniatures he painted and even time is short these days the jungle would be sad if it would not bounce at least a little bit. Roman painted up the official box-art for FER Miniatures / Forged Monkey of Laszlo.

A small, but really cool bust to train on some skintones, sculpted by Raffaele Picca.

The story behind that bust was also written by Roman:

Hungary. A story.
His parents named him Laszlo.
He was special and one of a kind. Even in kindergarden no kid wanted to have trouble with him. Not even his teachers in school. Laszlo was angry with life since the day he was born. Fast he became the leader of his gang and they were out for trouble and action all day long. Laszlo was their vicious leader. A strong leader of a big growing criminal institution and money, girls, glory and violence where always surrounding Laszlo.
All things come to an end and Laszlo got imprisoned. It was time to proof himself again and build up structure and settle leadership in one of Hungary’s most protected prisons.

This bust is in private collection. Thanks for your support in my work, art and passion.

Roman did a second version of this piece as it was so much fun. A clown. Clowns should be funny, but many people are scared of them and many idiots use the clown look to scare people. Stupid. This clown is actually a funny one. Really? Is he? You decide ...

For the hair Roman used the same technique as we introduced to you in the basing article about how to create moss/dosh, check it here.

What will your Laszlo version look like?
Keep on happy painting!
