Dynamic Lenore

Aloa Jungle,

today there is another finished miniature.

This was a kind of experiment for myself and also something I need for particular explainations in my upcoming advanced class. This paintjob is not about clean, smooth blendings, it is just about bam! bam! light/shadow and contrast play.

Miniature is "Dynamic Lenore" from Hasslefree.
Definatly a miniature I will paint again in a more common way.
I hope you like this ...

Dynamic Lenore
Hasslefree, 28 mm

If you are up to learn more about miniature painting, check the class announcement for the first of my Advanced Classes in Graz, Austria, February 2016.

Some WIP photos ... Bam! Bam!

Keep on happy painting!
Best Wishes
Roman

  2. I have to admit, I prefer this more impressionistic style over buttery-smooth blends. This has real character and an artist's signature. Bravo, sir.

  3. I love how you managed to paint a dark atmosphere like this. I cannot do this in any way... Got any quick tips for painting miniatures that are supposed to be in dark area's?
