MV's Tip of the week #05

This weeks tip is about creative freedom:
You know how good a fresh shower feels, washing off the dirt and sweat. Believe us, cleaning up your workbench is the same for your mind. Clean it once in a while and you will be happier painter with a clear focus on your projects.

It is nothing bad, when your workspace is a mess during the heat of creation, but often the heat is followed by a void. Take your time. Clean up your mind, your creative energies. Make room for fresh energies and motivation.

Cleaning your workbench, talk about brushes, colours, material, spirit etc.

Painting/Project Motivation
Roman speaks about a project related motivation curve.

Cleaning up is sometimes so relaxing, especially when I have finished a bigger project, but beside my workingplace I clean the complete room in addition... restarting with fresh athmosphere :)

  2. This IS a good tip! I like my table to look like a miniature parade ground though at the end of a painting session it looks like a miniature battlefield...

  3. I have to do a complete clean-up of my workbench about every 2 months. It definitely helps my focus!
