Vanguard Trooper

Hey everyone,

here is a miniature I recently painted. It's a "Vanguard Trooper" of the "Sedition Wars: Battle for Alabaster" boardgame. I really like the design of the figure!

I wanted to try out some very harsh, metallic light on the armor & gun and tried to paint a second light coming from the ground. I hope the effect works :)

This will be one of the miniatures for our next free giveaway to celebrate our 1500th follower!
What you have to do and how to get this figure will be announced soon by Roman!

Vanguard Trooper

Hope you like the figure,
Raffa

  1. Oh yes! I like you you've recreated the implied lighting and color from the actual game boards onto the trooper itself. An entire army like this would be an extremely visceral gaming experience! Now, what about The Strain?

  2. Looks great! Definitely digging the second light affect. For a board game piece you knocked this out of the park. Awesome Job!

  3. Great work. The lighting is very effective but I don't think I have seen weathering effects applied to these minis before. Awesome.
