BANANALICIOUS BANANA Winners!

Hello bananalicious people,

we are done with the though judging work of our first BANANALICIOUS PAINTING CONTEST.

172 entries had to be looked at, compared to eachother and  the photos the participants sent to us studied in detail. Believe us when we say this was no easy task, but we had to made our decisions and so we did ... thanks to all your patience!

Your jungle will bring you the winners during the upcoming days
- today follows the Special Banana Category.  12 entries dropped in in this category and with so much crazy and creative creations. Totally amazing and bananalicious! We had a though time judging this category as every entry made us cry out in joy because it is so unique! In this category we mainly judged the creativity and how good the theme "Banana" was transported.

    I'm sorry... but Google "flashing banana"; someone made a model of an existing japanese toy. Maybe "great minds think alike", however it should be fair for all.

    I think that´s a pretty obvious Idea actually and as it differs strongly from every flashing Banana Miniature I have seen before, it should be okay...:)... Congratulations to all Winners in my Favourite Category...

    I did not know the existence of the "flashing banana", I found this image on the web and I decided to sculpt with Super Sculpey.
    I think it was awarded the sculpture and painting and not the idea...I'm sorry for this misunderstanding.

    Whatever other oppinions exist about an entry - the judges decided and everything was awared with reason in their eyes.

    So, no need to tell excuses, Mr. G. ...
