The Walking Dead

Ough! Ough!

Another figure finished.
This time it is the bust of Satine, unpacked yesterday, here in the jungle.

Back to Satine ...
Somehow things went pretty crazy while my work on this beautiful lady.
I thought about her beauty and believe that many people will paint her as  beauty princess.
I wanted to create the contrary. As I do love the series "The Walking Dead" my theme on her was quickly chosen - surprise: Zombies!

The Walking Dead
Arktik Toys, 4 cm

the lady looks like this outside the photobox

and inside the photobox again ...

Hope you like her?
Let me know what you think via comment!
That was for sure some ugly work - stay tuned for the upcoming step by step article where some of this ugly work is explained, but don't puke!!

Keep on happy painting!
Best Wishes
Roman

  8. Great work, especially for such quick work! When I saw the bust in MU, it looked kind of ordinary, but you have created a very interesting result through zombification.

I do have a question. I notice that in the photobox, her skin mostly looks green, but in the other picture in the case, her skin looks much pinker, with green mostly visible in the shadows. Do you know why this is? Which looks more like how she looks in person?

  9. Thanks for all your comments, glad you like this conversion and bust.

    @David
Sure: They look different because in the photobox a lot of light is coming from everywhere and somehow it swallows the reds and contrasts in the skin. On the other hand the photo in the cabinet is done with lightning and it shows lights too bright but brings out the reds well. Something in the middle I would say is the figure's look in real.
