Ai ai ai ... this review took me a while :)
Thanks for all your patience - I was just to straight busy the last week and I am still are. Too much going on right now and too much projects to finish until Games Day Germany arrives. Whatever ... I have to tell you from another beautiful weekend we had at the latest painting class in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
First, I got to say thank you to some people who helped organising the class. My biggest thanks goes to Peter aka Baphomet for organising a perfect weekend in a youth hostel. Perfect organisation in front of the weekend and during the weekend. Thank you my friend. Thanks to Dirk and Thorsten for helping Peter about local matters, thanks for your visits to both of you. It was my pleasure to meet you Dirk (thanks for the cigarettes in times of need). Many thanks to my bibab Raffa for coming with me and finally a massive thank you handshake with additional earthquake roaring to all the participants who took part in the class, first timers and second- , even third time runners.
The class started as usual on Friday afternoon and ended up late at night with ways too much colour theory inside everyone's brain, a prepared figure and a almost ready base. Some time to sleep and Saturday arrived for us all with relaxed Saturday morning final preparations ...
Ahhh ... before I forget. Many thanks to Peter and Teame for additional photo material for this review. Without your support this review would only exist of 5 photos ...
We really enjoyed Saturday's tasks and everyone got into painting massively. It got harder during the day as no one is really used to paint for 10 hours at once, but in the end everyone succeded in reaching the goals of Saturday.
I feel a little strange as I don't write much words to this review. It really was an awesome weekend and the photos speak for themselves. The class content did not change much from the last class so maybe this is why I keep it simple ... What I can say for sure is that I am truely proud of the participants indivudal improvements, even Saturday had its evil moments of motivation ...
We did not forget to make a group shot of all participants - BUT first let me say thank you to everyone for their helping hands in cleaning up the place. Super awesome Teamwork, that was truely impressive. In the end we had a little forum about the class and shared ideas, thoughts, impressions and hints together for a while - thanks to everyone that was also very relaxed and nice ...
Yes it all started with plastic ...
:)
Thanks to everyone involved - it really was a weekend to remember and it was the monkeys joy to get to know so many new faces and painters ...
Enjoy Painting, always!
Keep on happy painting!
Best Wishes
