Work in Progress - gettin' stupid
posted by roman, jarhead, kong
I am getting stupid, really :D
Listening to the Rhinosong now for 8 hours already. Maybe I overthink to love the Rhinoday!
Slow Progress of the Scarification Tribal ... slow and much ahead - ai ai ai!
Thanks to you all for such a kind feedback - that keeps me being stupid for a long while as the finish line is still a long road ahead ... It makes me pretty happy that the tribal scarification is visible ... I guess 3 more days and I am done with the tribals, then it is time for the rest ... ai ai ai !
The tribal is grand! I've never seen tattoos formed out of scars on a miniature. It totally adds to the wild atmosphere. Looking forward to see it finished.
Very cool. You make me want to pick up his brother Kifaro. (Allan C was on a bit of a Rhino kick, it seems.)
The scarification is fantastic. Is it actually 3-d, or just painted to look that way (trompe l'oeil)? If it is 3-d, what are you making it out of—just blobs of thick paint?
Thanks again for your kind words - man, I did not expect that feedback because of madness - yeah I feel pretty mad during the third day of work on the tribals - but I see that it all comes together soon :)
@David Acutally it is both - I'll write an article about it when it is done - taking busy photos all the time ...
I love the tribal scarification!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!!
ReplyDeleteTribal and scarring...nice branding!!!!
... but every minute oft your time put into the scarification is totaly worth it! Keep it coming, big Kong
ReplyDeletewow, simply amazing. I'll have to give it a go on my Savage Orcs, would work nicely with dot painting.

Looking forward from seeing it finished !
