The Marquis of Carrabas

posted by roman, jarhead, kong

Home again and getting ready to write a hundred emails that dropped in while I was away for the painting class in Hamburg... ahhhh!! Patience! And a big sorryio from my side!

Thanks to everyone who helped via comment to make the jungle a better place to navigate. We have plans from your thoughts and some will be executed sooner or later, step by step.

I want to show you another finished Miniature.
This time it is the "The Marquis of Carrabas" by Smart Max's Smog Range, in 54 mm - click here for the model information. I started this model a while ago without knowing where this will go and I am happy with the result after I did some additional work on the base. You can find an article about bricks and coins behind the link and see the base in progress. Hope you like the Marquis ...

  1. Amazing! No crazy kabooom splosh dynamic stuff here with loads of special effects but a very very good paintjob on a beautiful figure! The base is very good too, it emphazises the character of this mini! This truely is-for me-one of your best paintworks of all time!

  2. Hi Roman!

Really great work - as always. ;) My first thought when I saw the mini was something like "Dracula" or "Lord of Vampires", but his skin is to reddish for this. ;)

Muchas Gracias! Really happy that you like him, even the project itself is not a bambamboomerang effectfull project :)

  4. Daring hairstyle! I'd make me even if I still had enough hair:))) The figure itself is not really my taste, but the base is once again sensational. The play of colors on the bricks is excellent.
