For our french readers ...

posted by roman, jarhead, kong

Aloa - this information goes out to all of our french jungle visitors. Thanks to Julien Casses the new Issue of Ravage Magazin # 67 has a little interview with me, Roman in it. It is mainly about the jungle and how MV came together, what is behind MV and such things.

A little preview straight from the workbench:

Get your issue and check it out! Guess it is only available in France :(
For sure the interview is not the best thing in the magazine (it is only one site), there are tons of articles and useful hobby information to be found. I just picked out the interview because there I know what is written in - my french is soooo bad :/

If I said something wrong about he magazine, please hit the comments to correct!

Na wenn das mal nicht ein tolles Kompliment ist. Das ist ja fast wie ein Ritterschlag :-)

    Aber verdient ist es....

Need deutsche Übersetzung von dem Artikel, irgendwer? :-)

    Le phênomêne allemand
This is a big compliment - it is a little bit like an accolade.
Give credit where credit is due.

    I need a translation - anyone?

Sorry for the German post :-)

  3. Yeah, did not know about the compliment and the jungle feels indeed very honoured about this surprisé :)

As far as I know: In a couple of months there will be a translated version to english somewhere around the internets, maybe ;)

This means that this blog is the reference in cool miniature creations in Europe :)

    Congratulations!

  5. Oh dear - Julien didn't tell me about that part :D - the jungle is filled with apes who all have some red in their cheek skin now ... many thanks, but seriously this is a bit overdressed I think :)

  6. Hi happy jungle!

I took the liberty to make a quick English translation of this article, for all the people out there that don't understand French.

Before posting it here, I wanted to have Roman's approval, since his name is fully disclosed in it ;)
I'm not sure either if I can legally do this...

Please don't, not yet! There is an official translation already in the making and will be up when the next issue of the Ravage appears. There won't be an approval by me for your translation as it is an oath with the Ravage magazine.

There isn't any offence at all in my words. I just ask you to wait until 2012 - hope you get the why and what I am saying :)

  9. Don't worry, I understand your position :)
I'll wait for the next issue of Ravage.

In a nutshell for the eager, what the article says is that this jungle is the ultimate place for miniature enthusiasts, owing to the numerous contributions (articles, tutorials...) and the very good atmosphere.
Also you are the driving force behind miniature in Europe and Ravage readers are strongly advised to come here and take a look around.
