Capuchin Roundhouse Kick in Boredoms Face!

Posted by Raffa, Picster, Capuchin,....

Hey everyone,

these days are all a bit slow paced at my work-bench... maybe because of all the energies i spent the last weeks, maybe because of Skyrim (DAMN YOU DAMN GAME!) and maybe because of other stuff to do than painting like mixing ready-to-use dayglow colors that will soon be buyable in my store... that will launch officially next week :)

Nothing like grinding pigments in the morning with a nice tea...

But why do i post? Because i have much stuff i want to share with the beloved jungle!

So, now for some inspirational stuff i found on the internets! :)

First thing, i saw a very well known stock photographer Marcus Ranum taking a trip to pripjat and the chernobyl region, his experiences with this weird place are a really intresting read.

Next is a amazing swordmaker from japan, very wise words here.

Handmade Portraits: The Sword Maker from Etsy on Vimeo.

Here i found a very interesting way of painting skin, you can use the same colors on miniatures basically... just try it out! :)

And finally, some music!
Your Hand in Mine - Explosions in the Sky
Vacuum - Teenage Bad Girl (watch out, electronic beats in yah face!)
Star Guitar - 大沢伸一 (too good! :)

Hope you like some of the stuff!

  4. Beware with those pigments!
They may think you are doing something like anthrax or some other stuff straight from comics, like that substance that turned 4 turtle in Master Painters.
