IMPORTANT: Damn, after my email program (Thunderbird) has made my day a while ago by bringing in around 1500 duplicates of long recieved emails from my webmail server i lost the email adress of Daniel, the comissioner of the Dark Elf during cleaning up furiosly ... please contact me... damn sun, haha!

Hope you like them so far - there is still a lot to do... but end is soon coming in sight... i guess... maybe... hoping... whatever... sun burns... sweating... barbecue :)

Keep on happy Painting!

  1. Like them both a lot, absolutely love the huge banner for the Dark Elf - mind sharing what you have made it out of, and how?

    Really like how the base fits so well with the colours of the Cold One: very natural, as I believe a hunter dinosaur like that, wouldl ike to have some camophlage as it sneaks up on whatever prey it is hunting. What's better is how well it fits with the dark torquise of the Elf's clothes and banner.

  2. The Cold One don´t need any camouflage, in cause of this thiny flag everyone will see him :). Very well done metallics I think. Let the sweating go on ...

  3. Yes Roman plz share your color mix of the banner with us. I have my AST nearly 60% done but my mind cant find the correct colors for the Banner, that just seems to be perfect :)

  4. WOW, I really love the COC and the lightning on the Librarian. Didn't think a blue armour along with blueish metallics would work so nicely. Thumbs up!

  5. Thanks a lot folks...

    @Noeste
    The banner was made out of a thin iron plate... thanks for describing your colour feelings on this one...

    @Anonymous
    The banner is only in full size when an army of 80.000 Dark Elfs are marching into a battle... that doesn't happen every day, so the camouflage might be a good idea for lonely hunting nights :)

    @Marc
    The Banners colour is made from basic colour dark sea blue by Model Colour with a tip of ice blue for the first highlights gone to bleached bone so far...shadows are made from a drop of chaos black in the basecolours... same on the clothing of the Elf, but still there is a lot to do...

    @Androsch
    Thanks, buddy - glad you like it...
