Demonprince finished...

posted by roman, jarhead, kong

I told you about that demon prince i did paint in 4 hours at the local Games Workshop Store. It has been painted on Wednesday afternoon in about 4 hours with some "fresh air" breaks as a gift to the great new chief of the Store, Gregor - a wonderful person - it is a gift to him for a good start and the store version of the model. 4 hours, puh... my back still hurts a bit, haha... whatever keep in mind by judging it that it has been painting rapidly with ultrasuperwetinwetpowerninjaturtlesherotechnique, hope you like him!

Big thanks to Rob who made the photos today - highly appreciated, muchas gracias! But you didn't shoot a photo from the back... but that is not really important so don't you ever think about doing one again... it's really not that important and i am very happy about those... hope to see you next Wednesday!

This demonprince model really rocks. The sprue is awesome in my eyes - first i was not really impressed, but when i did hold the sprue in ma hands - really wow and a big joy to paint! Base is build up from common earth, old lollipop sticks and thin wire and a stone i think...

4 hours - let me know what you think about it... maybe i will do this once a week to paint a miniature in the local GW store, every Wednesday, 4 hours, a mini, a brush and some good time...
Best Regards
Roman

  5. Reminds me a bit of the very first minis I saw from you on Maxpaint back in 2007 or so ;)

Really great skin and base! The black lacks a bit of contrast, but for 4 hours this is again madness :D

  6. 4 hours?I curse you!! Nah! just a joke. It's amazing for a 4 hours paintjob. Maybe I should spend from 8 to 10 hours on that miniature, only to reach half of your skill.

    Greetings from Canary Island!

  7. 4 hours! Wow! Great piece of work there Jar. Before this i had seen the model and i didn't think it was that good. I've changed my mind

I love the skin colour, and i'm trying to work out the colours you have used. I'm thinking tanned flesh, bleached bone. but not sure. Spill the beans!

    Cheers
