ReplyDeleteYehaww , I especially like the Sanguinary Guard Marines.
ReplyDeleteThis is true metallic , isn´t it?
I find it pretty hard to get nice looking minis with true metallic because I fail to put depth into the metallics.
I do work with inks and stuff...but the normal shadow/highlight procedure doesnt seem to work...;)
Any good tutorials on this topic btw..?
Thank you for getting back some inspiration, so i can go back to my desk and do some wired sculpts, hopefully someday painted by the jungel crew...
ReplyDeleteBlashyrkh look at the tut section and also automatons metallic guide, removing inks in favor of regular paints will really make the metallics pop.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your comments... @Blashyrkh: Yepp, in the Tutorial section you may find one article about TMM and maybe there are some more up in the future... keep an eye out, also check the one from automaton over on CMON... or on his homepage, which you find linked to the left at "hobby friends"... The marines are painted in true metallics, yes... but i while doing so i completly lost track on what i did there, haha
