Monkey brother Raffa told me about a problem today. He is sculpting a braid at his bust and it sucks. So I had an idea. I think it is not to bad and decided to share :-) I don`t know exactly the diameter of the wire but it is approximatly 0,1 - 0,2 mm.
That seems like a good way of getting a braid, at least for large scale busts. It wouldn't really work at 25mm. ;)
ReplyDelete@David: Sure, it was only meant for a large scale bust. I took 9 wires, 6 would be possible too and then the braid would be thinner. Or only three wires which could be covered with putty, at least one would have the basic shape already because of the wire :-)
