BEESPUTTY, new sculpting putty available...

posted by roman, jarhead, kong

Aloa.
For those intresting in sculpting this could be very cool. There is a new sculpting putty out, called BEESPUTTY. Produced by one of germany's top sculptor's Stefan Niehues aka crownbear.

I've read over on his blog, that there will also be an Online Sculpting workshop over at www.drueckepeter.de, also for english speakers - keep an eye out for both.

More information can be found here on Stefan's blog.

Keep on happy sculpting and painting and stuff and things and doing and enjoying spring rolling in soon!
Regards
Roman

  3. The difference ? So that will be an epic post but what should I say. Take the time and test it
The putty is a mixture of a claylike putty with the properties of an epoxyputty with a firm waxlike feel. you can work out volumes easyly and the will hold the shape you give them. Also it alows you to have more than 3 houres of worklife...
I work as a professional sculptor now for more than 10 years and I have tested every claylike putty every epoxy and wax that I got to my fingers. I was not satisfied with all of them. Many masses are great but they dont have the whole set of advantages that oure beesputty has. I have developed that for toydesigner who are nuts of carving out waxcheets. You can build up easylie volumes lit it cure and than you can work on it in a way on toywax. Hope that helps...
