As I make my way towards my destination it occurs to me that whilst fishing for this old gal's mail, I'm going to be stuck out in the open. I need to be quick about this! I thrust my hand deep within the mailbox and retrieve the only item in the depths within, the old lady's letter. What is this green powder all over it? Dayglo paint? Suddenly I'm not feeling so good. Why is the world spinning around like this? I slump to the ground, letter in hand, and as the world fades to black, I hear Eduardo's distinct voice calling me from the Void.Engineer Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13717176305750829528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669705958656495659.post-37140670298008963732012-12-13T01:54:52.238+01:002012-12-13T01:54:52.238+01:00A)

What an odd request...Paranoia, paranoia, paranoia.
What an odd request…
Option B
What type of “meat” were those meatballs made of? Gotta scope out the location of this mailbox. Is it out in the open where a sniper can take easy aim? Do I have anything that will open a locked mailbox, hmm. Tricky situation.
First things first, get out my paints and in bright orange letters put “SAFE” on the back of my jacket and on the sleeves. Hopefully this will help me from getting jumped by any survivor patrols thinking I’m a Zed. If I get the letter, I wont head back to the house just yet.
Wild Chevyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00306988585191695790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669705958656495659.post-41702346155545771362012-12-12T19:22:43.449+01:002012-12-12T19:22:43.449+01:00B) take the loop way and get to the mailbox
A let...B) take the loop way and get to the mailbox

A letter to Santa?? Weirdness must be genetic in this family...But she is so kind with you and this little comunity is the only help that you have found, so at least you should support them.
You show you best smile and answer "Sure Ma'am! It will be my pleasure to do it" and you make a little bow. Both of you start laughting.
Before going in that asphalt jungle you better be ready. You search in the place for something badass: Throwing-spoons? Deadly flys watter?
You stop at the exit of the building, prudent and with all your senses ready. Everithing seems calm, and you try to call Eduardo with your phone. Still no answer, but hope springs eternal...
Everithing is quiet and, even if you felt quite safe the first hundred meters, now that you went a little distant from the group you start to sense anxiety. Mailbox is near, no one around, but still you feel observed. You look all around you, but you see nothing moving and no sound in the air. That's really strange, because you have a strong feeling that eyes are watching your every movement.
Finally you reach the mailbox. All good for now, but you look around you one last time to check every corner. Nothing. Still you sense something.
Ok, let's focus on the letter now. How can you recover it? Probably you can stick your arm inside it and try to grab the letter. You open the lid and....AAAARGH!!!! What's that???!!!
Two eyes are staring at you. What kind of "things" is inside this mailbox? Is "it" hiding or did someone put "it" there?

http://jillsbooks.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/child-peeking-out-of-mailbox.jpg
Nehrnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669705958656495659.post-86213291433310835162012-12-12T19:05:30.220+01:002012-12-12T19:05:30.220+01:00I never met a Grandma who belives in Santa. I must...I never met a Grandma who belives in Santa. I must be Crazy but I take the loop way and put the letter into the letter into the mailbox (Option B))

JPhttp://www.the-eternity.denoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669705958656495659.post-51186067306001395642012-12-12T14:40:40.555+01:002012-12-12T14:40:40.555+01:00I can't barely believe it was me accepting tha...I can't barely believe it was me accepting that crazy offering. Even more taking into account I was dying to see Jessica. But I think I went along with all the craziness. After all, the mailbox was in the range of sight...

This is why I found myself crawling from hide to hide with a cricket stick in hand. At least, I asked for something to defend myself. Besides I took advantage of Grandma's safe place and asked her to keep the figure box to avoid any harm to the minis.

As I approached the spot I strongly began to recognize this maybe was a wrong choice...

So one vote for B)Roger Verdaguer Serrathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00794152250512919109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669705958656495659.post-88735728182418951502012-12-12T13:23:02.302+01:002012-12-12T13:23:02.302+01:00Yeah, yesterdays last is first today :O)
i choose ...Yeah, yesterdays last is first today :O)
i choose B]

Shit, i hoped that i´ll get some help from this group here.
But i understand that the well being of this community is more important than the wishes of a single individual.
So yeah, i will go alone.
As she asks me to go to the mailbox for a letter to santa, i don´t take her serious first, but as she insists so hard
i promise her to go there first, and then to Eduardo´s . Its not a big detour anyway.
I try to call Eduardo, but there is no answer. So i send him a message that i´ll be with him soon.
Before i leave i ask Grandma if there is any weapon for me. I hoped for a gun but she hands me over a big
kichen knife. Hm...better than nothing i think. As my broom was a good tool of death i fix the knive to it by
using some wire. A little bit more reach should be handy from time to time.

I grab all my stuff, as i don´t know how long it takes to come back, but still hope i will.
She gives me a fairwell hug and wishes me Good Luck.

On the way to the mailbox i snatch up a piece of paper and write one single wish to santa as well.
Normally i don´t believe in things like that, but what normal anyway?

I wish that this nightmare will be over soon and that everybody is safe again.....haraldnoreply@blogger.com
